1. General Information
These Terms and Conditions govern all services provided by Chery Autos, including the sourcing, purchase, and importation of vehicles from China to Europe.
By placing an order, the customer confirms acceptance of these terms.
2. Nature of Service
Chery Autos acts as an intermediary and logistics provider, facilitating vehicle sourcing, inspection, and delivery.
We do not act as the manufacturer of the vehicles but ensure that all vehicles are sourced from verified suppliers.
3. Pricing and Transparency
All prices displayed include administrative and processing fees unless otherwise stated.
Additional costs such as customs duties, registration, or local taxes may apply depending on the destination country and remain the responsibility of the customer.
4. Payment Terms
Vehicles under €5,000
Customers may pay a partial amount before delivery. The remaining balance must be paid within the agreed period after delivery.
👉 A written agreement (payment commitment contract) is mandatory and legally binding.
Vehicles above €5,000
Customers are required to pay 60% upfront.
Chery Autos may facilitate a deferred payment arrangement for the remaining 40%, subject to:
- Customer validation
- Signed financing agreement
- Identity verification
👉 This is not a consumer credit service but a private commercial agreement.
5. Delivery Terms
Delivery timelines are estimated and may vary depending on logistics, customs clearance, and transport conditions.
Delivery fees must be paid upon receipt unless otherwise agreed in writing.
6. Right of Withdrawal (EU Compliance)
In accordance with EU consumer laws:
- Customers may have a 14-day withdrawal right for certain services
- HOWEVER, this right may not apply once:
- the vehicle has been shipped
- or a custom order has been confirmed
👉 Customers explicitly agree to waive the withdrawal right once the import process has started.
7. Vehicle Condition & Inspection
All vehicles are inspected before shipment. However:
- Vehicles may be used or pre-owned
- Minor differences from descriptions may occur
👉 The customer accepts the condition of the vehicle as validated before shipping.
8. Warranty
Warranty (6 to 48 months) is provided depending on the vehicle and may be:
- Manufacturer warranty
- Dealer warranty
- Third-party warranty
👉 Full warranty terms are provided at the time of purchase.
9. Liability Limitation
Chery Autos is not responsible for:
- Customs delays
- Regulatory changes
- Transport disruptions
- Third-party logistics issues
We remain committed to assisting clients throughout the process.
10. Payment Default
In case of non-payment of the remaining balance:
- Legal action may be taken
- Additional fees may apply
- Ownership transfer may be suspended
11. Data Protection (GDPR)
Customer data is processed in compliance with European data protection regulations (GDPR).
Personal data is used only for order processing and service delivery.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by applicable European commercial laws.
Any dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts.
